Contributor Workflow Guide

  • Identify a story theme aligned with GoStoryUSA: broadcast stories, breaking news, family narratives, emotional living, or daily life.
  • Ensure the idea is original, respectful, and relevant to the community.

Step 2 – Drafting Content

  • Write your story clearly and concisely.
  • Fact‑check breaking news or informational pieces.
  • Use empathetic language for family and emotional living stories.

Step 3 – Formatting & Standards

  • Follow submission standards: proper grammar, readability, and structure.
  • Include supporting visuals (photos, audio, or video) if relevant.
  • Avoid plagiarism, spam, or promotional material.

Step 4 – Submission Process

  • Submit content via the Content Submission Policy form.
  • Provide author details (name, bio, contact email).
  • Confirm consent for any personal details or images included.

Step 5 – Editorial Review

  • Editors review submissions for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with Community Guidelines.
  • Stories may be edited for readability or sensitivity.
  • Contributors will be notified of acceptance, edits, or rejection.

Step 6 – Publication

  • Approved stories are published under the appropriate category.
  • Broadcast stories may be featured on multimedia channels (video/audio).
  • Contributors may be spotlighted in the Community Voices section.

Step 7 – Post‑Publication Engagement

  • Engage with readers through comments and discussions.
  • Share your published story on social media.
  • Respond respectfully to feedback and community interaction.
