Anyone who registers as a member of GoStoryUSA and agrees to our Community Guidelines and Contributor Agreement can submit stories.
2. What types of stories are accepted?
We welcome submissions in these categories:
- Breaking News (verified, timely updates)
- Broadcast Stories (video/audio features)
- Family Narratives (parenting, traditions, resilience)
- Daily Life (lifestyle reflections, routines, community moments)
- Emotional Living (hope, healing, inspiration)
3. Do I retain ownership of my work?
Yes. Contributors retain ownership of their content but grant GoStoryUSA a non‑exclusive license to publish and promote it.
4. Is there compensation?
Contributions are voluntary unless otherwise agreed in writing. No monetary compensation is provided unless a separate contract specifies it.
5. How do I submit a story?
Stories are submitted through our online portal following the Content Submission Policy. Include your name, bio, and any relevant visuals.
6. Will my story be edited?
Yes. Our editorial team may edit for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with guidelines. You’ll be notified if major changes are required.
7. How long does review take?
Most submissions are reviewed within 5–7 business days. Breaking news may be prioritized for faster publication.
8. Can I withdraw my story?
Yes. You may request removal of your content by contacting contributors@gostoryusa.com.
9. How can I engage with readers?
You can respond to comments, join discussions, and share your published stories on social media. Respectful engagement is encouraged.
