I ate at the dining hall on a meal plan I stretched across two semesters. I did not go on a single trip in four years. Priya went to Montreal with people from our floor junior year and I said I had work.
I sent the money and I never mentioned it and neither did they, because after about the fifth month it had stopped being a favor and started being a fact.
I canceled it at 9:40 that night in a graduation gown.
